Expertise profiles in AskMe are comprehensive, accurate and are kept evergreen automatically.AskMe takes a multi-layered approach to building expertise profiles. It leverages existing profile information available within the organization as well as build expertise profiles through dynamic and automatic updates. Meta-profiles Expertise profile templates have several sets of attributes such as education, project history, training, certifications, patents, global experiences, technical competencies etc. Organizations can choose from a list of attributes or add new attributes to the template easily. These attributes can be directly edited by the users or can be pre-populated automatically from other systems. AskMe provides several tools to pre-populate these attributes from corporate directories, HR databases, e-Learning and Project Management systems. Dynamic profiling AskMe augments the expertise profiles by leveraging information published by users on to the system. New questions, answers, documents published by users are automatically included as part of their expertise profile. The system uses quantity and quality of these knowledge contributions to determine expertise levels. Auto-profiling In addition to building meta-profiles and dynamic profile updates, AskMe is capable of automatically recommending new expertise keywords to the profile based on information authored by users on any system.
