AskMe Names Stephen Pao Vice President of Marketing

SEATTLE, November 25, 2002 - AskMe
Corporation -- the leading provider of Employee Knowledge Network (EKN) software
solutions, announced today the appointment of Stephen Pao as vice president of
marketing. Pao, who will report directly to Udai Shekawat, CEO of AskMe,
was formerly the vice president of marketing for Asta Networks, an early stage
security software company focused on denial of service solutions. As the vice
president of marketing at AskMe, Pao will be responsible for developing and
implementing worldwide corporate and product marketing strategies to expand
AskMe's leading market position, grow revenues and sustain profitable
operations.
Pao brings more than 15 years of expertise in executive management, strategic marketing and enterprise solutions development to AskMe. Throughout his career he has worked with a strong list of industry entrepreneurs and market leaders to create new market strategies, categories and services around innovative technologies. Additionally, Pao has successfully stepped into an acting CEO role of a troubled start-up, leading a complete company restart following the departure of the executive management team.
