AskMe Wins 2003 WSA Award


AskMe Corporation announced that its has been named as the 2003 'Most Promising New Company' in the 8th Annual WSA Industry Achievement Awards.

Recognized as the largest and oldest technology trade association in the Pacific Northwest, WSA is dedicated to supporting the growth and success of Washington technology companies.

WSA's Annual Industry Achievement Awards honors companies that have demonstrated excellence in technology through organizational growth, business viability, product innovation and marketplace success.

In this year's event, AskMe Corporation competed alongside more than 100 technology companies, including industry leaders like Microsoft, digiMine and BSQUARE, to win one of the program's most prestigious accolades---the '2003 Most Promising New Company' award.

AskMe's CEO Udai Shekawat was honored by AskMe's recognition and credits the company's success to its customer-focused business strategy and an escalating market demand for software and services that enable large organizations to leverage and capitalize on the tacit knowledge of their employees.

A selection committee comprised of WSA judges, local technology executives, academic and government technology experts and venture capitalists selected AskMe Corporation from a field of three finalists that were narrowed from more than 100 award applicants.

In order to be selected, these companies had to meet multiple business and funding criteria indicative of future success.
